Product Information

Based on the 2005 cinematic adaptation of C.S. Lewis' classic fantasy novel, this video game version of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe features the four Pevensie children as playable characters, each with a different specialty. Many of the game's challenges require two or more of the children to combine their strengths and work together. Only by using their talents in harmony will they be able to solve the game's action-oriented puzzles, and defeat the minotaur, cyclopes, werewolves, and other mythical monsters that stand in their way.<br><br>Peter, the oldest Pevensie child, wields a sword in the land of Narnia, and is the strongest melee fighter. The elder of his sisters, Susan, specializes in ranged attacks with her bow and arrows. The headstrong Edmund is best at making use of the environment, as he is a good climber and can use found objects as tools or weapons. The youngest sibling, Lucy Pevensie, can act as a healer when her brothers and sister are wounded. In certain situations, two of the children can team up to perform special attack moves.<br><br>During the war, while living in the safety of a large old country house, the four Londoner Pevensie children discover a magical wardrobe that serves as a portal to another world. This world of Narnia is caught in a monumental struggle, between the cruel White Witch who wishes to keep the lands frozen in a never-ending winter, and the noble lion king Aslan, who wishes to free his people from the witch's evil domination. The game's environments are based on scenes from the movie, and characters are voiced by the actors who portray them in the film.

    Narnia The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe Video Game

    Narnia, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, is a great game! It came to me 2 days after i ordered it and i spent almost a week glued to my tv screen playing it. The graffics are awesome, and i love that they use lots of movie clips from the movie. If i could go back in time and buy it agian I definatly would!! So i highly recommend all you narnia fans to go out and buy this game!!

    Chronicals of Narnia

    At first I was hesitant to purchase this game, due to the fact that all "movie games" seem to walk step by step through the movie plot. Generally makes for dull playing, unless you play the game befor you watch the movie. This game, however, mixes up the action enough to keep it from being boring. If you are a fan of the Narnia series, you'll probably enjoy this game.

    Hideously AWFUL! I wouldn't allow the Taliban to play this game!

    I bought this because I loved the books/movies so much. Was thinking the game play would play along the lines of the Harry Potter games...WRONG! You are pulling and pushing the characters around with obnoxious directional icons over each characters head! Very annoying and extremely distracting! Add into the equation the horrible graphics (dark &quot;pencil&quot; lines around moving characters ) and awful music and you have the makings of one of THE WORST games ever made! I have thought about re-selling the game but have since decided not to inflict this kind of hell on any other unsuspecting gamers. I now know why the price was super low. I want to pay someone to destroy this monstrosity of a game.

    Good for 8-12 year olds

    This is a decent game for under 14 or so. For adults, it is too simplistic and no real challenge. The game doesn't follow the movie very well but there are some nice scenes from the film itself. The graphics are excellent and the game is pretty smooth running. The levels are short enough so that kids don't get frustrated or bored before it changes. So over all a decent game but only for the younger crowd.. I would say 8-12 year olds would enjoy it the most.
