    Great performance for the age.

    Well obviously this will not stack up to the 8th Gen i7, but for the age, it was a noticeable step up from the one I was using. I voted it was not easy to install because you have to take nearly everything else on the computer off to get to it. I did it in just under an hour, but it's not an entry level job. Still a good CPU.

    A Drop In Replacement on an Older Dell Laptop

    I had an older Dell Laptop that was still working fine but getting to feel a bit slow, Rather than buy a new laptop, I replaced the harddrive with an SSD, upped the RAM to 8GB and replaced the existing Intel T8400 with this processor. The extra caching and slightly higher speed is a definite improvement.

    Keep your old computer alive!

    Worked Like It Should

    I was just trying to breath some life in my old HP 6830s laptop and it worked like a charm!Thankfully no BIOS update was needed nor any other problems appeared.Applied some arctic mx4 thermal paste and the fan (almost) never kicks in.(Almost because it's full blown summer here in Greece)
