About this product

Product Information

World Championship Poker 2 stars seven real-life professionals, all waiting for a turn to fleece players of their hard-earned winnings. In addition to the title's Howard Lederer, Greg Raymer, Paul Darden, Robert Williamson III, Clonie Gowen, Amir Vahidi, Annie Duke, and Matt Savage are represented by in-game personas designed to match their skills as well as their looks and personalities. Through a light role-playing-styled setup, single players begin as aspiring card sharks living their mother's basement, and play their way up the ranks to untold virtual riches. The release also provides for multiplayer gaming, and this Xbox Live-enabled version of the game features online "Live Aware," "Scoreboard," and "Voice Chat" support.

  • Bad poker game.

I was expecting a good all around poker game from reading these reviews. The game has a "mini tell bluff" game where you have to follow a little indicator in order not to give a "tell" if you make a not optimal bet. What this means if you have a good hand and bet low to get other players to bet then you have to follow this little indicator for 3 seconds or so in order to not give a "tell" which shows you being nervous or something. Completely dumb. So bad that everytime this happens I don't want to play the game anymore. Had it for a couple of days and I am looking for a different game. Not soley a Texas Hold'em game. Has Omaha Hold'em, Pineapple, Razz, 5 card stud. Can't pick the exact game you want to play.

  • Mega hit it right on the spot

I too agree with Megahit. This is one of the best game out there. The only one left to compete with it is Stacked with it great AI somewhat like 10 year in the making. It also has last years #1 World Poker Tour Champion in Money Won, Daneil Nygrunu. However you spell his freaking name. They keep pushing the date back now it is set for an April 11 release then it will be May 2 just watch. Both dates are already on Gamestop. When is that Duke Nuke'em Forever coming out?

  • It's a great title

Why I rated this video game as excellent because it is the best game that I have seen out there so far and played. Why I like this video game World Championship Poker 2: Featuring Howard Lederer because it is great to play and you can practice playing Texas Holdem' and when you are ready you could go to Foxwoods to play it there. I bought this for my boyfriend because he loves playing Texas Holdem' and I am starting to enjoy playing it too.

  • Fun game.. I love poker

I love poker n the game has alot of options to it.. Its a fun game and it keeps ya goin.. I bought the game becuase I love poker and I knew that it would be alot of fun and a game I can play with all my friends. =)

  • Poker fun online

World Championship Poker 2 seems to be the best online poker game on any console.I have played many other xbox poker games and each one seemed to be flawed with either the cards being hard to read or the action going too fast.If you want a great poker game check this one out.
