The product was absolutely terrible. dirty and damaged when arrived despite being listed as new. shipping box was undamaged so wasn't during transit. The item ultimately didn't work. However, the customer service was great and they partially refunded it for the damage. And when I tested it and it didn't work, they fully refunded it. I have bought another one from them as I am hopeful this was an issue with the item and not the seller.

6 years later.... the GTX 1070 is still GREAT

Originally I was looking to buy a 6GB GTX 1060 but the GTX 1070 is a much better value. At the time I bought this, it was only $30 more for the EVGA GTX 1070 than an EVGA GTX 970, and $20 more than a 6GB GTX 1060. The 3GB 1060 shouldn't be on anyone's radar. The GTX 1070 is a no-brainer at these prices. According to the techpowerup database, the GTX 1070 is 50% faster than the GTX 970 and 35% faster than the 6GB GTX 1060. It's hard to believe the GTX 1070 is still an excellent 1080p Gaming workhorse.... considering that it's over 6 years old. WTF.... this 6 year old card can deliver at least 45fps at Ultra settings in the most demanding games at 1080p? Yep. The only advantage the RTX 3050 has over the GTX 1070 is the addition of new features like DLSS. I've owned a large number of ...

  • Great value and preformace

This card is cool, quiet and cheap. The 1070 outpreforms the 1660ti and the RTX 2060 for only $200. It's an amazing value for 144hz gaming and this specific EVGA model is very quiet under load, while looking great at the same time. I was able to get +200MHz OC on both the GPU core and memory completley stable in fur mark for 5hrs straight. The max temp I got overclocked was only 73 C, all while being quiet. The only downside is no backplate, but still highly reccomended.

  • Powerful Graphics, Low Temps

This card is much more powerful than my GTX 760, and it runs a lot cooler and quieter. My only complaint is that this card has a white LED that lights up when the PC is on. It looks cool when the computer is open, but it's very noticeable when I have my PC on overnight, and I'm not the type of person to have LEDs and clear side-panels on the computer.

  • totally worth it!

no cons here,...a fantastic video card. came from a gtx 970,..which was awesome except for the notorious memory issue from nvidia...... im at 1440 p....60hz,....and every game, (triple aaa), that i play is maxxed out no problem and just looks gorgeous!. doesn't get hot at all....no throttling...and turbos to almost 2k on core by itself. for me,..this is gonna last me years i hope.

  • Weird occasional glitch on cable swap - Met my picky expectation in performance. 8/10.

Always unsure of used items, but price was high enough to assume it'd be in good condition and it is. The only weird thing I'm noticing is occasionally if I'm switching HDMI cables I get a yellow haze over the screen and have to unplug-replug to get rid of it. That's never happened with my current evga 2080ti ftw3 nor my old msi gtx1070. Aside from that it's working great though, handles Project Cars 2 in VR on an OG Vive just fine at 1.4x supersampling. It's comfortable, does well on GTA5 on my 4k monitor as well. as in with my 'modified settings' It hovers around 70fps in 4k.
