It only has a range of 30 feet. If there are other blue tooth devices in the area then this is increased but unless you walk your dog in a busy area it is very little use. It even told me my dog was 1.5 miles away when she was at my feet.

We explained to you that it is not updated in real time and it is not limited to distance positioning. Location updates take advantage of Apple devices passing around the machine. After the machine receives the signal, it shares the address with the server, and the server then feeds it back to the mobile APP. (Non-real-time location update) The stronger the signal, the faster the update. Otherwise, the location will not be updated
