About this product

Product Information

Adventurous anglers can treat their Wii Remote and Nunchuk as more than a simple rod and reel in Shimano Xtreme Fishing, a game that also lets players go bowfishing or head underwater for SCUBA-clad spearfishing. Gamers can choose from an array of real-world gear, such as Shimano fishing rods, Hoyt bows, and Muzzy arrow points, as they fish above and below water in unique locations spread throughout the world. As players plumb the depths they will encounter more than 40 different types of fish, but danger also lurks around the best fishing hotspots in the form of sharks and alligators. Tournaments serve as Shimano Xtreme Fishing's primary game mode, each offering unique scenery, time restrictions, and weather effects, but those simply looking to practice their skills or spend a leisurely day on the water can also roam each environment in "Free Fish" mode.

  • good price

Fun Game. I have wanted a spearfishing game for years and came across this one. For 20 bucks or so it was well worth it. Played it a few days and will play again. Havent tried the fishing or bow fishing game but glad I bought it and would reccomend it to divers and fishermen. Hpefully someone will come out with an even better version of a spearfishing game that is more realistic.

  • Pros and cons...

Fun game. Like the spear and bow fishing, but the targeting vs. the hit don't seem to be very accurate. Could be operator's lack of skill though. What I definitely DO NOT LIKE is that the POLE FISHING IS SINGLE PLAYER ONLY. There should be an option of "combat fishing" for Salmon for example from shore as in Alaska, or deep see fishing from a charter boat, allowing multiple players to fish with a pole at the same time. Over all, fun game though!

  • Fun game

This is a game I bought my husband due to good reviews I have read online. When I received this in the mail, I started playing it with my 3 yr old daughter. We are not very big fans of reading the manual before playing, so we just followed the directions during the game. We found the multiplayer and it was actually fun. Although it is really not like actual fishing it is still a fun game! My 3yr old loves it and actually plays really good! When my husband started playing this, he agreed the multiplayer is fun. He tried the career game, unfortunately it took quite some time to get the hang of it. He got a little fraustrated playing the career game at first. The second time he tried it, he finally read the manual, and figured out how to play it. Spearfishing is better than rodfishing. We ...

  • A very good game

I got this game for my nephew he is 7 years old. He has really enjoyed this game. He likes that there are more than one game mode. It's like three games in one. And the graphics and flow of the game are good also.
