    Easy and amazingly effective

On its own, the EAD-10 is amazing. The built-in directional mics do a surprisingly good job of picking up the rest of the kit. Add a 2 zone snare trigger and another pad for sounds and effects and it really shines. It has tons of customization you can apply to each trigger, and lots of built-in sounds. Can be used to record and practice at home or pipe it through a PA to get all the features working for you on stage. I wouldn’t recommend it for high quality studio recording, but short of that it’ll do what you need it to do.

  • It’s the ideal mic solution for small to medium sized venues

Amazing equipment unlike anything else on the market. Mic your drum kit while also having effects blended in at the same time all from one module and the bass hoop mounted dual condenser and trigger box.

  • Game changing mic/Trigger

This is a game changing product! I’m using the Yamaha Ead10 to record and upload YouTube instructional and song play along videos for my YouTube channel. What a fantastic product! I watched so many videos before it arrived and it’s even better than I thought it would be. Make sure you download the App, Rec and Share to get full use of the product! The app is excellent as well! Yamaha has hit this one Out of the park!

  • Exactly what I'd hoped for

My band has been trying to get in-ear monitoring set up for a while. The main hold up was figuring out how to get drums in-ear as efficiently as possible. Enter the EAD10. Instead of putting two microphones on each drum, I can just put the main mic on my bass drum and send one cord to our system. Thus avoiding conflicts with the sound person as much as possible. So far we've only used it in practice but the results appear promising. I have a separate snare trigger on order which will give me finer control over the sound and volume of the snare. There are also multiple ways to output the sound from the module. Including a headphone out, Left(mono) and Right out, and USB out. The scenes are fun but generally not that useful besides the compressor scene. At the end of the day, I would ...

  • A surprisingly good device for a lot of different uses

I'm actually very surprised by this product. It not only is very well thought out but it actually does what it's designed to do extremely well. While the bass drum trigger requires a heavy foot, the rest of the sound actually is pretty good. You do have to be aware that the condensers really only have a 4 foot radius to pick up sound. That means a second snare next to the Hi Hat or a second floor tom might not get captured by the mics. The sound choices are pretty good, and if you're willing to do deep dives into the software you can really fine tune this little rig to do some pretty amazing things. While haven't used the recording portion of this rig I have used it live and in the studio and gotten pretty nice results. My band is a variety type band so we cover a lot of styles and ...
