THE WIZARD OF OZ/GET DAZZLED BY IT IN BLU-RAY
The wizard of oz is a fantastic film and has appealed to all ages through all of its generations since the films release inception back in 1939.To see it on blu-ray is a must,a company worked hard to bring this to us(see utube vids)in perfecting re-prints taken from the best 35mm print they had available,in this case from the original camera negative,and used a 4k scanning machine to move down the line for further manipulation,the image quality res on 35mm exceeds 1920/1080p you might not think,in fact a 4k holding is within a prints capability, like in a traditional cinema but there are losses upon the projection screen resolutions,however telecine machines work well, and 1920/1080p is blu-rays full output signal so the compression works very well,you can now re-live the film like you ...
