Installing this internal hard drive allows users to instantly access large quantities of stored data and to also enhance a computer's performance thanks to its SATA 3.0 GBPs interface that ensures faster data transfer. Although the data cache is only 8 MB (where frequently accessed data is stored) and the RPM spindle speed a relatively slow 5400 RPM, what the Kitachi lacks in these areas it more than makes up for by operating quietly using modest power consumption, making it a solid option for use with gaming consuls and DVRs. Stored data is accessed at a 5.5ms average latency.
