    Terrific Read

    This book is from the Cat Who series. I enjoy the books for an enjoyable mystery story without sex, foul language & excessive violence. I like cats, mystery stories and reading. Qwill is a journalist who likes to read, admires cats & is drawn by his newspaperman curiosity to pursue events that puzzle him. This book is set outside his hometown while he is on vacation with his cats.

    What is happening to the Cats?

    #23 I'm tempted to go back and reread the older books, because I'm not really sure anymore why I think I like this series so much. but Braun doesn't seem to be able to develop or resolve a mystery well anymore I’m coming to the conclusion. "The Cat Who …" are now being written by a ghostwriter - a ghost that's but a pale refection of Ms. Braun.. if you're new to Lilian Jackson Braun, do NOT start here. The earlier books in the series are much better and show why she has developed such a loyal following.
