Item was actually delivered by Royal Mail on 1st Feb 2024, NOT as they stated the 28th Dec 2023, Seller communications where very sparse, not very forth coming with information requested and generally not at all helpful. Aslo very doubtful they even queried the non delivery with royal mail as I never got any information regarding it.
Seller stated item was sent in a box but in fact it was a padded envelope. No indication on package from Royal mail to described reason for delay.

Sellers have very little control regarding mistakes which Royal Mail makes and even admits. Any sensible person would understand this but apparently Richard is not one of those. Instead he decided to write a long rant and did not even leave positive feedback. Richard apparently expected that we need to chase the Royal Mail van in his living area 400 miles away. All this for £2 used item. Seriously?

The article apparently got lost in transit. The tracking information was rather unhelpful so I contacted the seller. The seller did not respond to my message inquiring about the status at all. I then opened an Ebay case four days after writing the message. Three days into the case hearing period (so after 7 days in total) he responded to that case and I received a full refund. If the article had not been lost, I would have expected the seller to make the specified timeframe for the arrival.

This item was sent using the eBay Global SHipping Program and according to the tracking it was lost at the eBay sorting hub. Because of the nature of GSP, the tracking is bit more complicated than normal parcels with couriers.
However, the buyer had access to the tracking since start as it was supplied by eBay an cannot be altered or tampered. So maybe next time it would be good to check the tracking from your order.
