Compact, nice to handle, amazing sound, very portable, not overly expensive, easy to use, holds charge for ages. Good for the bedside and in the hand luggage. Only thing - talks to you in an American drawl, I would prefer a sexy French accent or lovely Welsh voice.

Pleasantly surprised just how good this little speaker sounds, great bass, very clear listening. Of course it would be being Bose but as my other half has one in another make, I was able to compare. Superior sound quality, very tactile, easy to set up and operate. Shame they don't come with a hard storage case but they're easy to get hold of and not expensive to buy (but very necessary - my OH's speaker gets knocked about a bit as it's handled and transported lots so could get damaged). The only downside is I wouldn't trust the speaker carrying strap as it seems to detach too easily. If I want to take it out with me, I will purchase a mesh carrier/bag and clip that to my rucksack with some carabinas. Otherwise 10/10.

I was surprised there was no instruction manual with this Bose speaker and that the charging cable supplied didn’t fit properly, so the speaker wouldn’t charge. Thankfully a cable I had at home to charge outdoor solar lights fitted and I found a manual on line, so I managed to get it to work.
