Chapter IV addresses the energy concerns and illustrates the available energy models and the concept of energy harvesting, while Chapter V deals with the tricky area of the management of security, defining threats and attacks and how to prevent them. Cryptography and key management are also addressed, with a focus on secure routing and secure location and secure data aggregation. The following two chapters show how placement should be performed to achieve acceptable coverage and present routing algorithms from a WSN's perspective, typically, secure routing, geographic routing, energy aware routing and quality-of service (QoS)-based routing. Chapter VIII offers insights into WSN protocols. QoS is a must for networks, Chapter IX reveals QoS metrics for WSNs as compared to other networks. The final chapters discuss research topics and several simulation tools used in studying and analyzing WSN environments. The book is rounded out by two appendices listing the must-know WSN manufacturers and datasheets. The seller is one of the best there is - high quality books, reasonable prices, securely packaged.
I do, however, recommend some changes to their shipping - they show a shipper (SortHub) on eBay, but the tracking # they email is for a different carrier. It’s difficult to know where my purchase is.
This time, it was delivered a week late. In the grand scheme of things not a big deal. But it shouldn’t be this difficult to accurately track my purchase.
