Die Theorien der Politik der Gegenwart sind in der Regel Theorien mittlerer Reichweite. Die gro en Makrotheorien, f r die der Bereich Politik nur einen Teilbereich des gesellschaftlichen Gesamtsystems darstellt, sind meistens au erhalb der Politikwissehschaft entwickelt worden. Dort ist die politische Theorie stark abh ngig von der sozio- logischen Theoriebildung. Der Verfasser hat sich mit diesen Makro- theorien an anderer Stelle auseinandergesetzt (von Beyme 1991). Diese Einf hrung setzt . sich einige andere Ziele als die bishe- vor allem auf dem amerikanischen Markt - vorliegenden Abrisse der politischen Theorie: (1) Es wird versucht, die Abstraktionsebenen st rker ZU sondern, als dies in den meisten amerikanischen Darstellungen der Fall ist, bei denen Ar- gumente der metatheoretischen, theoretischen, methodologischen und forschungs technischen Ebene h ufig unvermittelt nebeneinan- derstehen. Es sei nicht verschwiegen, da dieser Versuch gelegentlich auch etwas K nstliches an sich hat, etwa wenn die metatheoretischen und theoretischen Annahmen des Funktionalismus vom Begriff des politischen Systems oder der Begriff der politischen Kultur von den Grundlagen des behavioralistischen Ansatzes getrennt werden. Den- noch wird dieser Versuch unternommen, weil die Approaches in der Forschungspraxis h ufig nur eklektisch einsetzbar sind. Teile von Theorien und Methoden lassen sich in konkreten Forschungen rezi- pieren, ohne zugleich alle metatheoretischen Implikationen einer Theorie zu bernehmen, wie sich vor allem am Funktionalismus zei- gen l t (vgl. Kap. H. 4).

I do, however, recommend some changes to their shipping - they show a shipper (SortHub) on eBay, but the tracking # they email is for a different carrier. It’s difficult to know where my purchase is.
This time, it was delivered a week late. In the grand scheme of things not a big deal. But it shouldn’t be this difficult to accurately track my purchase.
