    What memories this film brought to me a mere child at the time of Munich.

    My father played against the Busby Babes in charity matches many times as a local amateur player. WW2 took away his own chances of fame. Dad died just before this film came out. I remember the tears in our house, in the streets, on the buses. This is second time of buying as I loaned the first DVD out. Our first tv was paid for out of a collection for my father when a clash of shoulders with Eddie Colman led to 6 weeks off work. We never dreamt that we would have weeping men in our front room watching the news of the crash and the funerals, including that of Eddie Colman. I really enjoyed the young Bobby learning to kick with both feet against a wall. years later I met him and his brother Jack through my job but did not know the full story till I told my Dad who my ...
