Paint on the self-tapping screws also meant a bit of strength was needed to assemble the unit. Once expanded the 'lid' doesn't cover the top (but it does then provide added airflow !). For : Once assembled the unit is a great bit of kit for flexibility in the Home/Office. Expandability. Castors. A decent price. Would seriously consider buying another one for my other location.

Assembly leans heavily on self-tapping bolts and you will hate it if you don't have an electric screwdriver. A couple of the bolt holes are very awkwardly placed for assembly: strongly consider getting an offset adapter for your electric screwdriver. Finally, the top only fits well if the rack is set to its shortest depth: I drilled a couple of extra holes to secure it.

Do not rely on the included square nuts, they break easily but it's not an issue as the enclosure itself is really sturdy.
