Reviews
Out of the Silence (SPCK, 2016): A remarkable book by a remarkable man . . . Peace would universally reign if the world were full of people like Terry Waite., What makes this book so enjoyable is that the great friendship, affection, and respect that Waite and the Archbishop have for each other really shines throughout each tale, This is Terry as he really is -- wise and funny. A good book from a big man. If only he could be the Primate., Solitude (SPCK, 2017): Terry Waite takes the reader deep into other worlds, both geographical and psychological, from which they will emerge enlightened and spiritually enriched., Terry Waite's saunter through solitude is wide ranging, original, well written and (best of all) companionable.

Item as described, good price, well packaged, arrived slightly later than hoped (not in time for Christmas ) but the order was placed in a very busy shipping period. No issue with the seller’s speed of response and sending the item. Great seller!

Great seller with great communication! Item arrived complete, as described and for a good price. There was a bit of an issue with tracking the order at one point (not the seller's fault), but seller was proactive in reaching out to the carrier and myself to get everything back on track. Arrived when expected.

  • TItle is totally appropriate.

The narrative in the book is well written and both interesting and amusing. Provides great insight into the relationship between Terry Waite (who had been a long time hostage of Islamic Jihad in Lebanon) and a man who, as Archbishop of Canterbury) followed in the footsteps of Sr. Thomas A' Becket. A really good read.
