This is the most fun I've had with an action platformer on a Nintendo platform since I played Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow. There's just something about the fluidity and precision of the gameplay, the immense difficulty challenge, and the graphics and music and overall presentation that makes this feel like a game that Rareware or Nintendo would have made on the Super Nintendo. I can't recommend it enough. This is a major hidden gem with lots of replay value as you unlock extra movement abilities that allow you to find secret areas in previous stages... Hidden levels and an unlockable extra hard mode rewarded for beating the already challenging platformer. This is a must for fans of the genre or Nintendo DS collectors. Don't let the puzzle mechanics deter you - it's a very light and actually fun gimmick in the game that I found to enjoy.Read full review

It is easy to look at the game and say, "Hmmmm....looks like a Professor Layton rip off to me." It's not. In fact, this game is nothing like Layton at all (except that Henry and the good Professor have that same sort of demeanor about them). It can best be described as a hybrid between a really top notch adventure game and Tetris. How does that work you ask? Its hard to explain. But it works and it works really, really well. The game is perfect for the DS and I don't really think it could have been pulled off on any other platform. The game does get rather hard the deeper you get into it, but that's not really a knock against it. I give it an 8.5 out of 10.
Great puzzler from the DS heyday, great game for a collection.

the beginning levels are fun and let you catch on to the unique two screen play. as henry hatsworth battles foes in the top half, a colored block matching puzzle scrolls up on the bottom screen. items acquired in various blocks can then help in the top screen gameplay. some of the levels are ridiculously hard (esp some of the secret levels), and toward the end of the game things seem a bit repetitive. however, overall it is a big thumbs up - definitely worth the purchase!
So glad I heard about this game from sam On gamescoop podcast. I love this game!

This game is super unique and gets addicting real quick, not enough DS owners have played this game. So much fun!

This game is definitely different and challenging but not too challenging that you get frustrated. I would recommend to anyone who likes puzzle games and action games.
Really fun game! The sounds for the talking part is irritating but the game is addicting! You get so into the game!
Thank you! Highly recommend

Purhased brand new. Still in the wrap. Nothing looked suspitious, but I bought 4 DSI games and not one of them worked. Not one bit. I am still trying to reach a human at ebay to try and resolve this issue. My sons were devistated!
