Product Information

Activision and Disney have collaborated to create a skateboarding game starring characters from three animated films. Using the same isometric engine from the handheld version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure takes players through such famous locales as Pride Rock, Pizza Planet, and Tarzan's Treehouse as they guide six characters from The Lion King, Toy Story 2, and Tarzan. Single Session, Story, and Multiplayer are the three modes of play.<br><br>Playable characters include Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Tarzan, Terk, Simba, and Rafiki. Once a character is selected, players will be able to perform such popular moves as ollies, grinds, spins, and a variety of other aerial tricks with whimsical names such as the Howdy Slide, Tail Chase, or the Cosmic Ballet. Single Session has players competing on any available course to achieve high scores, Story involves fulfilling a series of objectives to unlock new levels, and Multiplayer offers head-to-head competition against a friend. <br><br>Since many of the featured settings are not conducive to traditional skateboarding, players will be able to guide their characters using modified boards in the shape of bamboo rafts, frying pans, and more. In addition to completing objectives, players will also solve puzzles, uncover secret areas, and find a variety of items to collect on each level. Developer Vicarious Visions is no stranger to skateboarding games: the company was also responsible for the first three Game Boy Advance versions of Activision's best-selling Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series.

    Great Game for Kids

    In this Disney game you can skate in different areas that resemble scenes from the movies Toy Story, The Lion King, and Tarzan. You can skate through Andy's Room and complete tasks or several other environments. The controls are easy to learn and the game allows do overs with ease and in a way that does not make you really feel like you totally failed the game. This game is perfect for kids who like Disney and sports. The game is great for helping young kids fine tune their fine motor skills while playing an age appropriate game that features favorite Disney characters such as Buzz, Jessie, Tarzan, Simba, and Nala. It has enough challenges to offer many hours and several sittings of play without seeming too repetitive.

    Great for young ones!

    I was trying to find a game for my 5 year old son that wasn't too mature or difficult for him, but would keep his interest. This game was perfect! He wanted skateboarding but some of the Tony Hawk stuff is too advanced/mature so the Disney idea went over well! He plays it over and over. I'm very happy with this game!

    COOL SKATE BOARDING

    WELL, MY SON ASK FOR THIS GAME FOR CHIRSTMAS. I GOT IT AND FOR HOURS HE PLAYED TIL GBA DIED ON HIM. SO WHERE EVER HE OR WE GO, WE GOT THE CHARGER READY. A COOL GAME FOR LITTLE ONES OUT THERE. IF YOUR KIDS HAS NOT PLAYED THIS GAME, YOU SHOULD GET IT. I KNOW THEY'LL LOVE IT.
