While I have zero interest in 'Toy Story', I long fantasised about finding an inexpensive motorised 4-4-0 chassis on which to attempt a scratch-build Milwaukee 'Hiawatha' Atlantic. This thing fitted the bill admirably, if you're prepared the overlook the wide spacing of the drivers. The chassis itself is robust and runs well, while the body is a useful source of scrap details - I even managed to find a use for the cylinder heads. Only drawback is a lack of weight which means in its original form it won't pull much, although to be fair it's not intended to operate like a conventional model engine. The 'Hiawatha' turned out better than I expected, so I have now acquired another 'Toy Story' chassis, to form the basis of a CPR 'Jubilee'...
