One of the best, if Not THE Best, 3/4 Helmets on the Market
I love this helmet (and I searched for a long time to finally find one, as it seems they are no longer sold in America*)! For my use, I believe it is the best open face 3/4 helmet on the market. First, it's an Arai - so you know the quality will be first rate and the price will reflect this (this is not a cheap helmet!). Second, this is as close to a full-face helmet as you will find - it seems only the mouth area has been cut away from this helmet which, near as I can tell, is the 3/4 version of the full-face Corsair or Signet. It is both bigger and lighter than other 3/4 helmets - for instance, my new CT-Z helmet is a size XL with a Sena 50R comm unit now installed. It is bigger and a half a pound lighter than the 2XL Nolan N40-5 that I also purchased. I attribute the size and weight of ... I love this helmet (and I searched for a long time to finally find one, as it seems they are no longer sold in America*)! For my use, I believe it is the best open face 3/4 helmet on the market. I attribute the size and weight of the Arai to better use of better materials - more padding/foam/protection causes a larger helmet, but better materials makes it lighter. Lastly, I will add that I am a full-face helmet guy and ride with one (or a modular flip-up) almost exclusively. The only time I wear this 3/4 Arai is when I'm working - I work for moto video teams that work on-course for bicycle races and marathons with speeds almost always less than 50mph. As such, I love the Arai CT-Z - it moves a lot of air, it's comfortable to wear all day, it easily accommodates a com unit (or, on occasion, two comm units) and the peak visor allows me to block the sun from my eyes while keeping both hands on the handlebars for those early morning race starts. *In America, the CT-Z has been replaced by the RAM-X. Note that the RAM-X does not have the peak visor, but a sunshade. The picture shows the XL Arai CT-Z on the left and the 2XL Nolan N40-5 on the right.

Best helmet I have ever purchased
One of the best helmets I have worn, I have been riding motorcycles for over 30 years, this helmet is incredible. Ventilation is perfect as well as comfort, you can’t go wrong with an Arai helmet period.
