Item arrived today, well packaged and in perfect condition. Seller had it advertised as "very good" but I would say it's "like new". I've been looking for a new or preowned US copy of this item for a long time. The black dvd cases are so much better than the usual PAL cases used by UK or Australian releases, because you can get the dvds out without cracking them. Bargain of a price. Will definitely use this seller again if the appropriate items are available. 5 star service.

    Dances With Wolves

    This film is certainly one of the finest films out of Hollywood in recent years. It accuratly shows how "The White People" ran roughshod over the native americans and eventually took everything they had (their land, buffalo, etc.). The end of the film is heartbreaking where it says on screen that the Indians and the Horse culture were "passed into history." I suggest every history teacher show this film in their classes so future generations can see what a proud race of people the native americans are, and what we did to them.

    dances with Wolves, directors cut (extended edition)

    I have loved this film since it came out, as far as I was concerned more of it was only going to be better. The director's cut is brilliant and the DTS soundtrack really brings it to life, the story is not your usual Western, in fact I wouldn't even call it a Western if it wasn't set in America probably no one else would either. It's the story of one man's journey from wounded suicidal soldier to a member of a doomed people, for all that it sounds hideously dark it only serves to accentuate the good things in life, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. The version shown every so often on TV is okay but be extended addition at 227 minutes long is exemplary, however you do probably need to put aside most of the day to watch it but it's worth it.
