  • I recommend this if one is trying to 'see' the Sixties.

The photos taken are honest, candid and depict the subject matter in a way that is memorable. When seeing the first photo of Crosby, Stills and Nash it was showing an innocence that the industry had not touched them yet. The photos of Jim Morrison show a serene face that is singing from his soul. There is one photo that took my breath away for a split second it was three of the Beatles sitting on sides of a conference table and they were discussing the selling of 'them'. It shows raw emotions and the moment is captured purely and in a way that reflects that innocence is lost. I have wanted this book since it was put out and am very pleased to finally own it. For me it is now a prized possession. I only wish I could have met Linda Eastman McCartney. She was and is one of my heros.

  • a must

Linda Eastman did photographed numerous rock artists of the 60s and 70s...her photos seems unavoidable.
