When I came to connect the plug I found the Terminals looked very cheap. There is hardly any room to connect the wire securely in my opinion, the terminal screw and little space made it difficult to get a good connection! I finished up removing the terminals, splitting each wire and twisting the wire around the screw before replacing it! It may be OK for a Kettle or something inexpensive but not a high end purchase. Spend a little more and get a decent plug.

Quite well made, but not really appropriate for use with greater than 3 amp cable. Connections are not really good enough to deal with thicker cable. However I liked the look of it so persevered using 10 amp cable, but I managed to solder tags to the three wires which I then was able to screw to the connectors (the wires were too thick to try fitting under the heads of the screws).

Screw threads 'stripped' on live and neutral terminals, the electrical contact with the mating connector was very slack, resistance must've been so high as to present a fire risk. Can't believe they are even legal. Threw it in the bin.

Poor quality. Screws for wire connection are very small with no washer to hold the wire in position. The connectors are not robust enough to make a good connection at any current &I certainly wouldn't put 10 amps through this flimsy thing. For an extra pound get the ruggedised model which is OK

Bought this to connect power to a 'Y' connector behind a TV and Xbox mounted on the wall, this has allowed the use of a simple power cable to run up the wall making it look much more tidy
