The phone features sensors for fingerprints, gyro, and proximity, as well as an accelerometer, a compass, and a barometer. Very nice 5" smartphone with great camera (software)
Very nice smartphone. Exellent camera software, compact, pritty fast pure android, amoled display with "always on" function. There are some issues with almost all pixels 1st gen: 1) bad mounting of audio chip - all sound disappears with time. 2) Weak battery and short battery life. 3) High risk of charge controller damage, coused by load during charging.

Excellent device with questionable design and price.
A review from an iOS and iPhone user! FYI: I am not leaving iPhone. Pixel is my secondary phone now. And it is amazing. I got great value deal and I cannot Not recommend it. Feels very smooth, comes close to iPhone 7 but...not quite. OS is fine, not too bad. You can get used to it. 2 downsides: lack of SD card and waterproofing. Otherwise: great performer, outstanding battery and solid camera!

A phone to give all Androids reason to up their game.
I lost my Galaxy phone last year and have been saving for a new one ever since but then my vacuum cleaner broke and before I knew it, I was facing the prospect of another six months with a very cheap basic phone when I stumbled on the Google phones. I bought a second hand one for about a third of what I had budgeted for. Obviously any secondhand phone has it's issues and this one is no different - in theory. The phone I received is 2 years old and has been used but is in amazing condition. The transfer of data from old to new phone was seamless and so thorough that it was a bit strange! I have a couple of Google Home Minis and this phone works straight away with them. I intend adding more Google gadgets in the future as this seems like a trusted company that provides a decent quality of ... Incredible phone
I love this phone. I've had it for a few weeks now and the most amazing thing about it is the battery life. It's lasting all day and when I go to bed it still has battery to last all might. I plug it in when I wake up and by the time I leave the house it's full charge again. I think 45mins to an hour if it's running massively low but often it's not even as much time as this. This includes regular usage messaging, browsing, watching videos, using GPS and maps, WiFi etc. After extended use on Daydream View (Google's VR) the battery is normally down a little bit and the phone can get quite hot, but Daydream view is incredible. Would definitely recommend getting the headset to go with the phone if you want to get the most out of your device. Performance is fast and it's able to handle ... I love this phone.
