    Outstanding!!!

    I have read this book numerous times. An old, tattered copy rests on my bookshelf at this moment. I you enjoy military or alternate history, you won't be disappointed. Based during World War 2, displaced loyalists from the Revolutionary War have built their own militaristic society on the African Continent known as the "Domination of the Draka". With plantation-owning elite as the source for their "shock troop" military, and slave-serfs used as "Janissaries," they prove to be the toughest opponents in the war against Germany, all-the-while fearful of the political tension between democratic America and their owner-serf society. Highly recommended!!! There are also follow-on books, "Under The Yoke" & "The Stone Dogs" that carry on the social/political story between the Domination and ...

    March Through Georgia

    Great Book. Good story,alternate universe story about africa and World war Two, In that the losing side the the American war of independence went to South Africa. They built a slave labor life and empire there and then moved to take over the rest of Africa.
