Product Information

In the tradition of films like Gladiator and Spartacus comes Gladius, an action RPG taking place in the world of gladiatorial combat. As one of two principal characters, Ursula and Valens, players must train and lead a team of warriors to compete in the 20 coliseums and arenas found in four regions around the world. As a gladiator team trains and fights, warriors become more experienced and eventually develop new abilities.<br><br>Each battle is fought using a combination of steel, magic, and projectiles as players recruit from a pool of 16 distinct fighter classes, including Imperial Legionaries, Galdr witches, and javelin-throwing Peltasts. Over 400 pieces of equipment can be used in combat, and Gladius offers over 100 customizable characters as players win the certificates required to enter new regions through successful battles.<br><br>Ursula and Valens both feature separate storylines, each of which offers an estimated 36 hours of play. In addition to the story mode, which ultimately has players preventing a dark god's ascent to power, a number of exhibition battles can be fought against computer opponents with support for multiple players in the cooperative mode. Once the story mode is complete, players can revisit tournaments to build their characters' stats for use in multiplayer combat.

I'm not waiting a week to tell you that I am never ordering from this vendor again. Zero customer service, when I try to contact its not delivered. I appreciate the fact the game came quickly however the game though described as "very good" in condition didn't run in my Xbox and no matter what I did it will not read it. It's only 3 dollars but if it is advertised as very good then it should be so. Safe to say I am very disappointed in this vendor and the product that I payed for.

A good price for a cool PSP game, shipped promptly and packaged well. However, the UMD shell arrived cracked so the item wasn't exactly in good condition. The disc itself was fine. Rather than return the item, the seller offered a refund directly. I used the refund to buy some replacement UMD shells and got it working. The replacement UMD shells cost about as much as the item itself. But the seller did the right thing without hesitation, so they have my thanks. Thank you!

    Best turned based game even still in 2021

    This game is soooooooo polished it has mainstream actors for voice overs and you can tell real love and passion was put in by developer's... I love the turn based action because I can drink or talk to friends between attacks ! Love gladius so much

    Gladius Again!

    I forgot how much I enjoyed playing this game. The game play is challenging and the story line is very compelling. It involves strategy and good hand/eye coordination to play and the plot keeps you interested. Completing and area and moving on to the next is very satisfying and the new characters you can pick up are really different from everyone else and definitely add to the enjoyment of the game.

    Underrated game!

    Brings back a lot of memories! I haven’t played this since I was 11-12 years old, and it isn’t disappointing at 24. Very in depth with a huge amount of character classes, weapons, skills etc. Also requires a huge amount of hours to beat!
