I have used these peelers over the years and lost one so replaced it with what first appeared to be a good bet as the one I ordered was all stainless steel but it turned out to be really flimsy and failed within a short period of use. This peeler is the same as my original and is bullet proof. It cuts easily and is very strong and being a swivel design it alters its angle while in use. Unlike some peelers this produces little waste as the angle and depth of the blade is designed to peel and not waste. Overall this is the best peeler for the money and I cannot sing its praises enough. Suffice to say I bought two just in case I lose it again. Buy it. You won't be disappointed!

This peeler is based on a well proven design but although the blade is good and peels well, the handle has been more flimsily made than the original model with steel that is too thin and uncomfortable to hold. It is however not expensive so decide for yourself if that might be a problem for you.

Quality wise, this is not the best engineered piece of kit. It feels lightweight and slightly uncomfortable in use. Functionally, it is excellent and does the job it is designed to do superbly and for this reason I would recommend this piece of kitchen equipment without reservation. It is true value for money.
