What a cracking bit of kit this is, easy to set up & get started, with lots of handy features, it looks as good as some others costing much more, if you want to dig out your old vinyl albums out of the loft & bring back the memories I’d recommend this Bluetooth turntable which has excellent sound quality even through my small budget speaker so would guess it sounds even better with a more expensive one or a sound bar.

It's easy to explain it. It's quite amazing what Audio Technica has done with their updated version of the original LP60. This new LP60X with bluetooth is probably worth more than it actually goes for, it boasts sound quality and automatic function right up there with high end decks. Anyone looking to upgrade from the cheap and nasty suitcase variety, need look no further than this cracking turntable from Audio Technica. Bluetooth is a welcome addition to this model, but I currently use only the traditional wired connection.

As a product this turntable is entry level but of good quality. The cartridge is the ubiquitous Audio Technica AT 3600 and replacement styli are reasonably priced. However, the cartridge itself cannot be upgraded, neither can you adjust pick up weight or 'skating'. The Bluetooth connection seems fine and the sound quality is pretty good, with no audible 'rumble' or 'flutter'. Assembly is easy - merely putting the drive belt over the motor pulley. If you are an audiophile and serious about vinyl, chances are you'd be looking at a much more refined and expensive turntable with at least an interchangeable head shell. However, as it stands the Audio Tecnica is a good introduction to vinyl records.

There's no built in speakers with this turntable so I use my Bluetooth Bose Speaker or my plugin Base Speaker with Left and right speakers using the Aux/3.5mm Jack Socket. I originally bought a Chinese Multi Record Player, that included a Radio, CD Player & Cassette Player for £150, but the Vinyl's kept jumping or skipping. This Japanese player is far better.

Excellent sound quality through Bluetooth and very very easy to use. Automated functions for 12" and 7" are handy. Very easy to set up with good instructions. My only criticism is that there's no power switch so I have to unplug it when I'm finished so I can use my Bluetooth speaker for other devices but at this price, it doesn't bother me much tbh.
