Great baseball game...
It's a great baseball game for the PS2. Would love it if it would have included even more of the DI teams, but there is a ton on here. Plays well, but I'm a fan of the classic control scheme, and fortunately you can choose it.

I am a big fan of the MVP line. The gameplay is far and above the best of the major baseball titles. I rented 2k7, MLB 07: the Show, and this game in 2 weeks, and this one was by far the most fun even though it has changed since its Major League inception. There is only one drawback: the college rosters. If you are not a follower of college baseball (and even if you are), this is disappointing because there are no real players. If you root for a specific college (like Notre Dame or UNC) then at least you have a team to choose, but I don't. There is also an option to play two players on the same team which I haven't seen since All-Star baseball on N64. Overall, if you can get over the lack of major leaguers this is the best baseball game out there for ps2 this year.I am a big fan of the MVP line. If you still have your PS2, buy it... this is a fun game.
First you must rate this to the games of 2007 in order to keep it a fair rating. This game really holds up to the baseball games at that time. This game allows you to create teams, stadiums, and players alike. You have the abilitie to morph peoples faces to any shape. The game has all major NCAA teams. Very easy to play and is still entertaining to this day. I'd recomend this game to a friend. I also would like to ad that it would be great to have another NCAA baseball game, but since this game did not sell so well, I understand that EA has no plans of making another and other compeditors are fearful because of the low sales on this game, to be quite honest though... I don't remember there being any advertising for this game. I mean no one is going to buy something if they do not know it ... Fun Game!
Definitely an underrated game. Don't go into it expecting it to be a full on MLB game. The franchise/dynasty mode is a load of fun!
