Retractable round cord leash
I purchased this to keep rein on a 15 LB Terrier that pulls way above her weight. Had an older model from another brand that looks exactly the same but this one has a number of differences. 1) The retraction spring is a bit stiffer than the older one so the dog has to pull a bit more to gain ground.. 2) The lock slide button is a bit finicky to engage, might loosen up with use. 3) the cord is about 2/3 as thick as the older one we have, so here I don't know if they are using higher tensile cord or the formulation is much tougher material than 25 years ago. Time will tell how it holds up. If it lasts 15 years (about how long this dog will last), we will consider it good. Have not done any hard surface drops yet, so no word on how well the plastic case holds up. Overall I think it was a good value for price. An added tip, don't bother with tape type retractable dog leashes, they get all twisted up and fall apart and short order.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
