    Much better than expected!

    Some weeks ago I bought this Sigma 8-16, Nikon-mount for my Fuji S5pro, because I've been looking for an extreme wide angle zoom without the typical "fish-eye" effect. I thougt it will be similar like most of the wide angle zooms - loosing contrast and sharpness in the edges. But far away. I am still astonished, how sharp this lens is. For those who want to use it together with a flashlight, take the flashguns Nikon SB-600 to 900; best use indirectly flashing because of the shades created by fixed hood, which I don't like (forget about the pop-up flash). The build quality is very solid, the AF very fast and hardly to hear. If you want, you can also override the AF. For me it's the ideal companion to take pictures outside like architecture and landscape and for beeing creative. I can only ...

    Well worth the consideration as it gives great results

    Purchased to add to my range of lenses this is the first which is non Nikon. I wanted something at the extreme wide angle which this is. The pictue quality is very good and with the lens cover on gives additional effects. The price is considerably less than an OEM and I bought it because it had really good reviews. I am really pleased with my purchase
