I think you need to have very long thick hair for this brush to have an impact, although my hair is longish, it wasn't thick enough to really catch on the brush. I also found I frequently inadvertently knocked the on/off and temperature controls, which was irritating, although olacing a cardboard cuff around it sorted that. Disappointed it didn't work out for me.
