Magimix confidence.
I bought this on recommendation from several friends who variously described Magimix as " indestructible ", "lasted for years", "wouldn't be without it- use it almost every day" and so on. To say the motor unit is solid would almost be an understatement; it is very substantial and heavy. This all adds confidence but (as I suffer with a poorly back) makes it awkward to get out of a low cupboard.so it needs to sit out on the kitchen worktop.. It makes really light work of slicing potatoes ( for dauphinoise ). grating root veg for salads. Hummus is really easy and quick and the dedicated spatula means virtually no waste left in the bowl. Downs; expensive (though I managed to get almost 50% discount through ebay), large and heavy..Comes with two grating and two slicing cutters but would have liked a Julienne cutter (optional extra). Ups; really powerful motor which gives me confidence, high build quality, good design, easy to clean. This feels like a proper professional workhorse.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great machine
Fast and powerful. Manages to avoid bruising rather than cleanly cutting food. Results. luckily, bear little resemblance to those produced by my very old, cheap machine.Very simple to use. You do need to have it on the worktop as it is very heavy.
