    The item wasn’t as describe, in fact the conditions weren’t really good. When I mentioned the problem , based on photos that I straight away sent back, the seller wasn’t helpful at all rather quite rude. I don’t know why I am not giving a negative feedback, but hopefully it’s a lesson.

    The item in question was described as damaged when I sold it, although I was accused of not having done so. I was demanded a full refund, so I offered a return instead, which they weren't satisfied with. I thought I cleared it up, but they obviously thought otherwise. I get it's easy to vent at a screen, or some business body, and not see a human, with feelings and a life of their own. At the end of the day, this is a service that suits the buyer, even if the seller makes mistakes.

    GOT IT TAPED

    Still using cassettes in the car! Maxwell is a leading brand in tape and so often you need to change the music in the car - these are ideal for self-compilations and last a full 90 minutes. In reality they last a lot longer because they are on a continuous play cycle when driving. The sounds are still good, can use from CD's or vinyl. Well recommended.

    Normal position cassette tapes.

    I have always used chrome or metal cassette tapes. But I recently purchased a cassette player that only plays normal cassette tapes. I find that normal cassette tapes are not as dynamic as said above tapes but if you have a Hi-fi and a good recording to copy, you can get decent output from normal cassette tapes providing you get the recording level just right. Maximum +2 recording levels should get you there.

    As I remember them

    It's a long time since I've used cassettes to record on but these Maxell ones are pretty much how I remember them. Good quality and no problems at all with them. I was expecting them to be more expensive than they were but a great price. I always used Maxell or TDK so a bit of a blast from the past. Great tapes and a great price.

    So good, I brought more.

    A well-packaged tape with good card inserts for listing tracks. Having used two of these the quality of the tape is good, tape transport is smooth with no sign of slowing or catching. I have purchased a second set of these as I was happy with the first ones I purchased.
