    Successful HDD Update for a Vintage Toshiba Laptop

    The MK1031GAS 100GB proved a perfect replacement for a failed MK1011GAV HDD in a Toshiba T8000 Laptop (manufactured in 1999). The original caddy fitted the new HDD like a glove, as did the motherboard adapter. An original Win98 CD formatted the drive and reinstallation of Toshiba t8k Utilities & Drivers updates has resulted in a refurbished vintage laptop with a tenfold increase in HDD capacity.
