    Works as perspecification.

    As I was replacing an existing unit the back plate wiring remained so the new unit was easy to fit - checked by a qualified heating engineer on the day. A little time taken to set the water and heating timer has left the Drayton fully installed and working well.

    Versatile timer

    This timer is a direct plug-in replacement for many existing timers, make sure the power supply is off first!! This timer features a useful boost facility. If the heating is off, you can run the heating for 1,2 or 3 hours anytime you like. Simlilarly you can extend any running programme by the same amounts.

    Slightly disappointed

    The clock was new as described but was very old stock. It’s guarantee ran out 15 years ago. The age made it impossible to remove the battery without breaking its mounting. So no battery backup will be possible

    Very flexible but straightforward to use

    Good quality product. Very flexible as can set each day to come on and off independently, or set weekdays as a block and weekends as a block. Love the boost switches so can run hot water or heating for an hour or more at will.

    Drayton lifestyle 722 programmer

    Very simple to fit, the unit clipped onto an existing backplate and was secured with 2 integral screws. Just needed to read the instructions a couple of times to understand and digest the information, ( or get a 9 year old to sort it out) after that it was plain sailing.
