It is slightly over 3 hours. part one is a rehash of the Steve McQueen version and Part 2 is after the war, some of the survivors go after the Nazi's who killed many of those who escaped.. Beware of VHS version. Many sell a 1-reel VHS and do not know it is a 2-reel set. I was just refunded for a 1-reel VHS copy. Said it was 3 hours, Was not. Buyer beware of VHS copies Must be 2-reels
