    Smooth is the best word for this volume pedal. I have several Ernie Ball pedals & this 40th anniversary volume pedal fits right in with the rest. Very nice look and smooth action. Built like a tank...….all of this is why I rate this 5 Stars.

    Improvement over the standard VP Jr

    The kevlar cord instills more confidence in it not stretching or breaking than the string drive. Though I hope it never breaks because I can't see a way to replace it. The feel of the kevlar string is more solid and immediate as it doesn't slip like the string drive can. And well, black...

This model seems to roll more smoothly than the VP Jr. and I like the black aesthetic device. In my humble opinion black has a professional look over the silver grey.

    Love the Anniversary Edition
