    D'Nealian Handwriting

    The D'Nealian handwriting technique is not the stick and ball method. The student is taught slants, and minimal picking up of the pencil from the beginning of learning handwriting. This makes the flow into cursive writing natural, and easier. When cursive is introduced, the student is basically taught connective strokes. I have used this method to teach children to write, and to transition into cursive, for decades. I love it, and the children love it!
