    A really good aftermarket air filter replacement that saves money & improves performance

    I did a lot of looking before deciding not to buy an OEM air filter for my car. The simple reason was it was too expensive - and for no reason other than it has BMW or VW on the box. After looking for a long time and reading some reviews it turns out probably the best aftermarket air filter your money can buy is the Pipercross filter. Its intended to increase the air intake potential as much as possible and eliminate as much restriction as possible. Imagine trying to breath through a blanket. or several layers of folded paper. That is what the standard filters are like. So when I saw this Pipercross from Epparts was a good price I decided to go for it. Its great being able to have a more technically advanced filter and washable too. That's what makes the decision to buy a no-brainer. And ...
