    This is my 2nd Pipercross filter. The first one, after 15,000 miles, broke up inside the air box and started coming apart so that got binned. Due to the extended service schedule with these over OEM air filters, I ve decided to give Pipercross another chance and see if this one lasts. There s absolutely ZERO performance gains in a modern computer controlled car as the fuel trim is automatically adjusted when extra air is detected by the MAF. Again, not boughty for performance gains, just like the fact that I should get double the mileage with this over OEM before I need to clean it.
