The flask is nice, but the inner part of the lid is hard [and potentially brittle] plastic... If not closed very tightly, lid leaks, if closed very tightly plastic starts making "straining/stress" [creaking / almost cracking] sound. I believe that the lid might be a design flaw, and will not be a robust as the rest of the flask.
