Notes
An American blues singer who helped define the soul blues tradition, Z.Z. Hill was perhaps best known for his 1970’s and 1980’s recordings for the Malaco label and for the track “Down Home Blues,” cited as the best known blues song of the 1980’s. In 1971 Hill hooked up with iconic producer Jerry Williams Jr., better known as Swamp Dogg to record an album in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Swamp Dogg produced, arranged and conceived the album, plays piano and organ, and provides guest vocals on "Faithful And True". "Hold Back (One Man At A Time)" and "Early In The Morning" produced and arranged by Jerry Williams, Jr. and Quin Ivy. “The Brand New Z.Z. Hill” turned out to be one of Hill’s best albums, yielding hits with “The Chokin’ Kind” and “Faithful And True.” Long out of print, the album finally becomes available in the digital realm, newly remastered.

- p***i (97)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseShipping was as expected: Less than a week. The packaging was very well protected. The quality of each album was as advertised: in sound, excellent, or mint condition. The value was exceptional, That's why I bought it, and the appearance was satisfactory. It's great when a seller delivers what they advertise. I will buy from this seller again.
- n***u (1956)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseQuick ship, but not packed very safely at all. No bubble wrap or cardboard stiffeners, just the record tossed into a thin record mailer. Good price and somehow (luckily) arrived as described.
