Do you like lattes? Here's how with a Starbucks Italian Roast Via
I've been using this coffee as a backup when I don't have time to brew the Real Thing, BUT the way I use it is to mix one of the Starbucks packets with one Mt. Hagen packet for one cup of coffee. Either one or the other is way too weak, neither tastes that great to me by itself, but the combination is pretty good. OK, so I'm a latte junkie, so what I do with the above is add a small amount of hot water to the coffee, stir it, and then fill the cup with heated 2% milk. Of course there's no foam to put on top, but the taste, if you like lattes, is really good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I bought 2 of the Via instant decaf not one and I have the paperwork to prove it! When it arrived It was in a paper bag not the brown boxes that the coffee boxes usually come in. One of the coffee boxes had been partly open. and both boxes were over their "Use By Date" I am afraid to use the coffee! I am 92 years old and on Social Security I can not afford to trust a company that would do this to me. Maurite A. Leer PS. Very pleased with taste, cost, and speed of delivery
Very pleased with the speed of delivery and the cost per packet. Since I only drink 1 cup of coffee per day, and I discovered that Starbucks blonde roast is my favorite, it made sense to try their Via instant packets. So I had been buying them at a grocery store, which was rather expensive. Then it occurred to me to look online, where I discovered this great deal on eBay! While I realize that my "great deal" is at least partly because of the "Best by" date (mine says 4/20). that hasn't mattered at all. These are individual serving packets, as opposed to a whole bag of coffee beans/grounds (which would definitely have suffered a flavor loss upon being opened). The flavor of coffee matters to me the most and I am quite happy with the flavor of these packets, along with their convenience. Starbucks VIA Instant Decaf Coffee makes a great, quick, mess-free cup of coffee.
In my house, caffeine is king, so when I decided to give it up, it was either buy a dedicated machine for my one or two cups, get my coffee to go from a café, or just stop drinking coffee all together. As it turns out, there is a fourth option, a great option: Starbucks VIA Instant Decaf Coffee, Italian Dark Roast. One can control the strength with more or less water, so once you figure out your ratio, you’ll have a perfect cup, every time. I also love this no-mess option, just boil some water, tear open the pre measured packed, dump it in a cup, add your water and enjoy. You only have the cup to wash. I’ve given up caffeine and we have but one coffee maker in the house, so instant was the obvious choice for me. I love the taste of the Starbucks VIA instant decaf! On those rare occasions I sneak a sip of the brewed, caffeinated variety, I find I have grown to prefer the taste of mine: the VIA instant.
