The image of the cottage in Walkington East Yorkshire has sentimental value to me as my father was born in the cottage in May 1940. The cottage was owned by my Gr Grandmother who was the village midwife and I presume my grandmother stayed with her as my grandfather was in France with the BEF later to be evacuated at Dunkirk. So as you can see I was meant to find and buy this Postcard
