Compact and user friendly.
most important was compactness and this is perfect. Sound quality is excellent given its size and retail price. Ease of use is enhanced by the plain easily understood instructions.Lack of "frills" is a plus point as you are not paying for extras that are never used.JVC is a trusted maker and lives up to expectations. As non "techy" pensioners this is perfect and a friendly piece of kit. Does what is says on the box.

JVC - good make BUT poor quality and sound
This is a Radio/CD player with option of battery or mains. JVC used to mean quality but sadly not this product. It is very compact and very lightweight and CDs fiddly to remove. The sound quality is poor and even at full volume is not as loud as I expected. Thank goodness I paid a low price for it otherwise I would have returned it.

Good product shame about the volume
A little disappointed with the volume on this product it does not sound very load even at max volume. the product is very compact and easy to use 20 presets which are easy to set just a shame the sound lets it down

Poor sound quality
Needs a bass tone. Very feeble sound seeing as it's called a boom box! Would have sent it back had I have paid full price but I only paid half price due to it been a demo model!
