For this book, Phillips supplements Blanche's memoir with notes and biographical information about Blanche and her accomplices. Illustrations. Weiser, found the memoir wrapped in a large unused Christmas card. Later she entrusted it to Phillips, who had interviewed Blanche several times before her death. Introduction in this book really hooks you . Most books like this are overly detailed and no fun to read. Not this book. Interesting, but could be better.
Seems to be a self serving account of Blanche's life with Bonnie and Clyde. Parts of it are interesting but she is trying to convince someone (probably herself) that she did it all for Buck.
