    Upgrade an old laptop processor to a quad core and it runs great!

    After carefully reviewing the types of processors for my old sony laptop I noticed the thermal wattage was the key source of my laptops limitations. Found out that the quad core processor requires 25 thermal power. Almost made the mistake by going 35. So I ordered this sweet processor and it runs great! Installed windows 10 and my laptop boots much faster than my customers home built pc. Sp glad this processor was at a good price and it was worth the wait. I'm glad I ordered from the right business and it's people. Thank you so much!

    Major speed increase.

    I have an old Acer Aspire 7551 that has a Athlon II 2.2GHz dual core cpu. That cpu is rated at 25 watts. I wanted to try the Phenom II N950 which is a quad core 2.1GHz but is rated at 35 watts. I didn't know if the laptop cooler was enough to cool this cpu but it seems to work great. It is a huge speed increase with the 4 cores. It is rated at 176.9% the speed of the original cpu.

    Great bang for the buck!

    I bought this CPU as an upgrade in a system that originally had a P320 dual core CPU. The P960 installed easily, and the performance improvement was easy to notice. It does run hotter than the P320, but not a surprise given that it has twice the cores.

    35 bucks for 3x's the processor, don't spend more than that because it's not worth the cost.
