Effective, comfortable and great value ear defenders

Top class ear defender
I live in an *extremely* noisy environment, and had purchased similar ear defenders of lower quality before. They did not last the time I would expect. Then I came across a review from someone who spotted the Peltor III as being used by ground workers on several airports (the ones with the green band, not the red one, for being visible). I've also read that some people complain about ear defenders as not large enough for the head: this is very simple to resolve, on every brand: just adjust the headband, folks! Regarding these Peltor Optime 3: they fit very well (once adjusted...), and are really noise killers (except maybe in the some frequencies (for hearing someone speaking, for instance)). So I use them, in my extremely noisy environment, with ear plugs, in order to "counter balance" the frequencies not fully filtered by the Peltor III. For serious usage, I would recommend the Peltor III and not the Peltor II, as even if the former are a little more bulky, it's worth the noise reduction. For long time usage: if I feel some discomfort after a while, I just readjust them, giving the necessary relief. This is valid for all kind of Ear Defenders. And here we go for another "round"! Enjoy tranquillity in a noisy World full of distractions: BTW, when your peers / colleagues see you wearing them, they perceive it as a "signal" not to disturb you. A sort of DND sign on your head! Super sound blockers
I'm a carpenter and use power tools regularly, having tried (and bought) many ear defenders over almost 3 decades I can confidently say that the Optime III are easily the best of the bunch. I find them quite comfortable for up to 3-4 hours; beyond this they hurt a little, but in fairness I have never found any another ear defender that is any better in this respect. Very effective noise reduction
Very comfortable and impressive noise reduction. I bought these to use in my shed during lockdown, doing joinery projects. My planer and extractor fan are very noisy and the router makes a terrible noise. I'm glad I bought a decent pair, rather than some cheaper less effective ear defenders. Good quality at a Good price
These ear muffs sit well over the ears and work well to reduce the noise from my Woodworking machinery, all hobby equipment I might add. They are comfortable to wear, once I adjusted them correctly, and don’t make me sweat when worn for a long time. Comfort and Functionality at its best
